How to Save 30 Minutes Per Column on PVC Wrap Installation

Snap-Tite™ PVC column wraps are available and ready to take the market by storm. Launched in the fall of 2022, this patented product has been saving contractors time on jobsites since the first units were installed. Want to learn how these revolutionary wraps can save you time? Read on for the time (and money) savings you’ve been looking for..

How does it work?

Snap-Tite™ PVC column wraps are designed to snap together, eliminating the need for mitering, gluing, and bungee strapping that up until now every PVC column wrap has required. Not using glue means there is no need to return to the job site the following day to clean up excess glue and remove straps. The average installation time for a traditional PVC column wrap is around 45 minutes per column (not counting return trips). Snap-Tite™ column wraps go together in about nine minutes, saving over 30 minutes per column!

You may be wondering how this works. Snap-Tite™ wraps are designed with a tongue-in-groove locking feature that snaps into place and holds the column tightly together. This lock will hold the wrap in place, ensuring a sturdy and beautiful column for years to come.

What’s it made of?

Beyond making the installation quicker and easier than ever before, Snap-Tite™ PVC column wraps are made of cellular PVC that will not succumb to the yellowing effect often associated with PVC material. While the white that this product comes in is sharp and matches the standard trim finish on many modern homes, the column wraps can be painted with an acrylic paint that has a Light Reflective Value (LRV) of 55% or higher to achieve an alternate desired color

Do I have options?

To further customize these column wraps, consumers have the option to select any combination of the Uptown or Parkway caps and bases.

Consumers can also decide between the smooth textured or wood grain textured column wraps, to best match the aesthetic of their home or project.
