ABMDA and Superior Aluminum Form Strategic Distribution Alliance

El Dorado Hills, CA – August 5, 2025 – ABMDA, Inc., the nation’s largest buying group exclusively serving independent 2-step wholesale distributors in the building materials industry, is pleased to announce a new distribution agreement with Superior Aluminum Products.

This partnership represents another key milestone in ABMDA’s continued growth and its commitment to providing distributor members with access to best-in-class products and trusted supplier relationships.

“Our association has established fairly strict parameters for any manufacturer to be considered as a potential supplier to our distributors,” said Garry Tabor, Executive Vice President of ABMDA. “In our discussions with Superior Aluminum, it became clear that this is a company that shares our values. They believe that a promise made is a promise kept, and that shared success is the best kind of success.”

Widely regarded as a best-in-class manufacturer with their extensive line of aluminum, fiberglass, and patented PVC Snaptite columns along with their custom aluminum railing with various infills & pre-boxed picket railing kits, Superior Aluminum is a natural fit for ABMDA’s distributor members.

“Our members consistently seek out manufacturing partners who truly support the 2-step distribution model,” Tabor continued. “Since 1956, Superior Aluminum has done just that—earning a reputation as a reliable, distributor-focused manufacturer.”

Ryan Nichols, Vice President of Sales for Superior Aluminum, expressed similar enthusiasm about the new partnership.

“We’re excited to join forces with ABMDA,” said Nichols. “Its membership represents the very best independent distributors in the building materials industry. We look forward to building a long-term and mutually successful relationship through this alliance.”

Since its founding in 1975, ABMDA has spent five decades advocating for the success of independent distributors by fostering collaboration, innovation, and shared opportunities.

“Fifty years ago, our founding members set out to empower independent distributors to thrive in a competitive marketplace,” said Tabor. “Adding Superior Aluminum, approaching 70 years of business, to our supplier group continues that legacy of excellence.”
